Program Updates for 2024 Programs…
- 12-day Classic Sessions have been eliminated. All Summer sessions are now 6 days long. Campers successful in our 1:3 ratio may sign up for multiple sessions. Those requiring a 1:1 aide are still limited to enrolling in 1 session. The Outpost will still offer two 12-day sessions for campers who are eligible for the program.
- New programming – Lead On Horse Camp. This 6-day session is a ground lesson horse camp for those who are not eligible to ride horses or not quite ready for COMEBACK Riding Camp.
- Dates – Please read through the session information carefully. Do not depend on the session number or dates that you have attended in the past.
Forms.
All forms will be reset by the time registration opens and will be good for one year starting November 22, 2023. When you enroll in a session you will need to review your profile, make any necessary changes, then sign and date for the new year. Once confirmed you will receive notification via email and you will have 30 days to complete the remaining forms in your account (does not include physical exam).
Cancellation Policy:
Effective Jan 1, 2023. To help ensure a quality experience for your camper, our staffing, programming, resources, and meal arrangements are finalized well before the start of your camper’s session based on our registration numbers. Cancellations must be made by calling our Office Manager, Kim Phillips, at 989-673-2050 or emailing kphillips@mchsmi.org. Cancellations made more than 90 days in advance will receive a refund minus a 15% fee. There are no refunds for cancellations that occur within 90 days of the start of your camp session. Refunds will not be given if a camper fails to arrive, voluntarily withdraws, or is sent home from camp during a session due to illness, homesickness, or behavior. Refunds may take up to 6-8 weeks.
