Aurora Reese
Program Supervisor

Favorite Camp Activity: "roughing it!"

Aurora is a recent alum of GVSU. While studying exercise science she heard about summer camp at The Fowler Center from a friend. Once hired, Aurora decided to try her hand at 'The Outpost' and loved it! Not scared at the thought of no electricity, cooking on a camp stove, or infrequent showering Aurora packed up her gear and traveled off site with campers to local Michigan State Parks to help the campers appreciate all of the beauty our Mitten State has to offer. After two years in The Outpost Aurora took a break to finish school and then came back summer 2019 as Head Counselor before joining our team full time. She is excited about all that this new position has to offer and is looking forward to coordinating great experiences for groups and travelers alike.
